I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Fremont, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
After applying for the position, I was immediately hired and put into training. There was a general training off-site for all employees including warehouse workers and Amazon shoppers. At the first training, we went over safety procedures, took health samples and discussed expectations for the jobs. Once done, I was sent to my first day at a Wholefoods Market and had orientation for that store. The training entailed a tour of the store and order practice. In other words, there is relatively no formal interview process for this position.
Clean and simple process. Drug test was included but it is required for the job. Training was involved and lasted about a week for me to pass all the operations tasks.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX)
Interview
None. There is no interview. You simply accept the offer presented and show up for the orientation process. You have to take assessments and drug screen and they do background check.
Applied online, there was no interview. You schedule a walk in date. That's where they will take your forms of ID and drug test you. If everything comes back good, you're hired.
