I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2016
Interview
There were two rounds. First round was an online debugging challenge. Questions were fairly straight forward and easy. They were at maximum one line edits. I got a call back after 3-4 days. I scheduled a phone interview one week later. The phone interview lasted 45 min to 1 hour long. There were three questions. One was on data structures and two were coding challenges. I had a type in a shared screen between You and the interviewer. The interview went pretty well. I got a reject after two weeks!
