Three video interviews in one day. Mostly just asking about my background. One assessment on an Excel, where I had to calculate some data for them and then walk them through it.

Question 1
Why Amazon? Tell me about yourself. Altre sui principi
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Berlín) in Jul 2022
Interview
After applying online via LinkedIn I first had to solve an online assessment. This consistent out of some logical thinking questions and then some behavioral questions. This was doable and you cannot prepare yourself at all for this. So I would just recommend taking your time and really focus. Then I got invited for 2 back to back 1 hour interviews. One was a case study and then the second one was about Amazon's leadership principles. The case study was on Excel and I was presented a table with prices, margins last years revenue etc. of items. The task was then to identify sale prices for the items in order to reach a 150% revenue increase to last years black Friday. Here you can't prepare much either. It included very basic Excel skills (mainly how to do calculations) so maybe fresh up on this. For the leadership principles you just get asked to tell the interviewer about certain situations where these leadership principles come in place. E.g. : Tell me about a time when you convinced someone to take a different approach than proposed, Tell me about a situation where you couldn't perform as good as you wanted to, Tell me about a situation where you took matters in to your own hands etc. You have to answer these questions in STAR format. So just learn all the leadership principles and think of 2-3 scenarios per leadership principles that you can talk about in STAR format at the interview. You could also ask the interviewers some questions but since they weren't my future managers (or similar) it was hard to ask job specific questions.
