I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
First round with a senior applied scientist, had a very good impression on him since the stuff we did are similar.
Failed at the final Virtual Onsite round, the feedback said that I messed up most of the coding questions.

Question 1
Describe a project you've worked on and you're proud of.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview was composed of two rounds: 1) research phone call and 2) coding phone call.
Research phone call was with the manager and we hit off pretty well with the interview, and the manager wanted to offer me the internship position.
I didn't prepare much for the coding interview, as I was expecting a research role. This led to the second interviewer to decline me. Make sure to prep for both aspect of the job!
