I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Pilani) in Nov 2024
Interview
DSA round - medium level questions on DSA, friendly interviewers and they were pretty patient and helpful.
ML round - did not make it although I answered the coding questions(CQ)

Question 1
Divide a number without using multiplication, mod or divide operations
Recruiter contacts you for initial details. Then a "phone" interview with a hiring manager. This was for Applied Scientist (Alexa NLP). You get provided material to prepare with. The leadership principles are unfortunately very important.

Question 1
Asks a couple of behaviour questions based on the Leadership principles. Then basics of ML: ensemble methods, unsupervised methods, ROC-AUC, covering the breadth. Then for the depth: workings of RNN, Transformers, LLMs. A general coding problem, probably a Leetcode easy.
A codesignal assessment and a chat. The first was about regressions and python pands and chat about ML and my experience. Lots of specific questions on this. I talked about a research project of mine and how I used causal ML methods.
