I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Mar 2015
Interview
The process was pretty nice. The initial app is just a resume drop with a short 200 word response. Then they email you asking you to complete an online video interview which is recorded through their system. It was about 10 questions based on things that they might not be able to get from your resume. The question is presented for 5 seconds then you get 30-60 seconds to answer depending on the question. Hardest question was "briefly describe AlphaSights in your own words" mainly because it was the first test of them seeing if I did my homework.
I apply this job through the official websites. I received an online interview assessment about 1 weeks later which acquire me finish in 7 days. The questions in the interview are very basic and tend to know more about yourself. However, there is only 5 seconds to prepare for each questions and 30 seconds to answer.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Dec 2014
Interview
I went through the online application process in mid December and was invited to the Hangouts portion of the interview (round 3? Or 2). When I went to sign up for an interview slot the earliest available slot was in the third week of February - a ridiculous amount of time between the two steps obviously.
However I waited until February. When I tried to enter the Hangouts session on that day, I found that the session had been closed (made at one point and then deleted). I informed alphasights recruiting through their normal email address and also emailed two recruiters as well as interviewer. Nobody replied back. I didn't get an explanation, I didn't get a reschedule, nothing. Of course I should have checked up on the status of my application in between December and February - that's parts on me. But why couldn't Alphasights be professional and communicate with me?
