I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
1st Round:
This was a video interview where a question was displayed for 10 seconds and then the system immediately starts recording you for 30-60 seconds depending on the question. There were about 10 questions in total. Nothing too crazy, just read the questions that are posted on here and you will be fine.
Then they gave me a timed test that consisted of basic math, random games, and definitions. There were about 60 questions each with a 20 second time limit.
2nd Round:
I was extremely turned off by the 2nd round interview. My interviewer spoke so fast I couldn't understand a word she said and it made the interview feel extremely rushed. She started off by telling her entire life story including where she worked previously, where she went to college, what she studied, and why she chose alpha sights all in a total of 2.6 seconds.
The rest of the interview consisted of her just flying through her check sheet of questions. As soon as I would answer a question she would immediately fire off a new question (sometimes while interrupting me) with no continuing conversation. Either my interviewer had zero social skills or she was just trying to get through her list and finish as many interviews as she could. It was an extremely impersonal interview... easily the worst one I've experienced.
I was offered a 3rd round interview that is supposed to last 2-3 hours.

Interview
Sent in resume and paragraph describing myself. Got an invitation to do a video assessment. 8 questions, 30-60 seconds to answer. All of the questions are on this site.
Was then invited to do a phone interview with HR director. Unbelievably impersonal and quick. It seemed as though she had hundreds of other people to interview. She said nothing but "okay" and had nothing to contribute to the conversation.
I am awaiting a response to see if I moved on the the next round. Don't know if I will accept, even if offered.

Interview
Submitted my resume online, got an email about scheduling an interview. Seemed like it would be a video interview (they give you a link) but it is actually over the phone. Spent about 15-20 talking about my background/interest in AlphaSights
