I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
Following the first questionnaires that are answered on the AlphaSights site, you will receive an email instructing you to complete a personality test and a recorded video response process. The personality test I thought was an unfair way to determine if you are right for their team - it breaks you down as a human by your responses and if you answer truthfully, frankly you probably will not have the most appealing results for an employer. The video questions you have 30 seconds to answer. There are only 4 questions, and although you may read reviews on this part of the process that might make it seem there will be 30 minutes of questions, the video aspect really only took 10 minutes. There are easier questions that are more reflective of your personality and then questions that require some preparation, such as "In your own words, what does AlphaSights do?" Where a few notes jotted down wouldn't hurt.
Interview process was ok, several stages and language test as it was a particular language speaking role, only downside really was very little feedback given at the end when not successful. When I asked for a feedback call as to why I wasn’t successful they didn’t answer my question and it was a 2 mins call saying that I was just unsuccessful.
