I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
Applied through on-campus recruiting. Did a one-way video interview first, followed by 2 skype interviews with a lady from HR. She was young and always seemed very rushed, mostly firing questions at me and rattling off information about the company that she seemed to be reading off. She seemed pretty condescending most of the time. I was pretty surprised that they invited me on-site. I interviewed with 3 analysts followed by another interview with 2 individuals. I had to do a case study where they left me in the interview room as I was supposed to search for the right individuals for 3 situations where a client may be coming to ask for information. The rest of the questions were very behavioral and nothing too difficult. I was iffy about the company from the start due to the unfriendly HR individual and all the bad reviews on here, but actually visiting onsite people seemed to generally enjoy what they were doing. Didn't get the offer, wasn't surprised because it was one of my first onsite interviews and I didn't feel like I was very prepared nor did I feel like I answered questions very well/stood out.

Question 1
3 words to describe yourself professionally. 3 words to describe yourself personally
I went through 2 rounds of interviews before deciding myself not to move on after the second. The first one was a standard behavioral one, recorded before a screen (might've changed due to the pandemic). The second one consisted of two parts: the first a role play, where I was assigned a case and asked to look for industry experts to answer a question for a made-up client, the second a standard behavioral interview.
