I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Apr 2021
Interview
Was pretty standard, asking the typical questions. Once you got to the 2nd/3rd round the recruiter is younger, honestly didn’t seem that interested, just kind of going through the process as they have to.
The management consulting interview process typically involves multiple rounds, starting with screening calls, followed by case studies, and behavioral interviews, focusing on problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and cultural fit. It was more on the behavioural and cultural fit as opposed to the technical aspects.
Behavioral-based interview that is quite common among other firms. Really know why you want to be a part of the firm. Gave a video to watch and asked questions regarding that as well.
There are 3 rounds of interviews, 2 behavioral, 1 "case". First two rounds are easy but last round was an hour long of only behavioral questions. Overall not too bad but just very long
