phone call with Japanese, English questions about reason for applying, what I did throughout my academic life, etc some extra questions about how I learned English and if there are further obstacles for using English during Internship

First I submitted the document via LinkedIn. I sent the CV, with no cover letter. If the company want to take you to the next step, the recruiter will email you about the phone call interview schedule. It took only few days to receive the email for the company.
