I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied through their website. Write a 200-word essay on your motivation for applying to the role at AlphaSights.
Got an invitation to complete a video interview the next day. Task had to be completed within the next 72 hours. Just be sure to prepare and practice speaking to the camera and it should be fine.
The video interview consisted of 5 questions, times between 30s to 120s to prepare for each question then you are required to speak for 60s. You do have the option of ending your recording early but I wouldn't recommend it. Just prepare your answers to fit within one minute.
IMPORTANT: There is no opportunity to re-record yourself, unlike previous posts. It's just once through and then you are done.
Received an e-mail saying that 'your strengths do not match the needs of our organisation as closely as those of other candidates' one week later.

Interview
Got through to the video interview stage and received a response 9 days after completing the test. The task was quite unnerving - having to stare at yourself on the screen as you answered the questions. I had 5 questions, with 60 seconds to answer each. More or less the same questions as others. Questions quite pointless I felt - not really about what you are good at but how closely you match their catchphrases
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied online through their website by uploading my CV and explaining my motivation for applying to AlphaSights and this role.
A few days later I got an email with a link to a video interview that would expire in 72 hours. For each question I had 60 seconds and 1 chance to answer, but there was time to think about the answer before clicking record. I prepared with the questions that others have posted on here.
The questions I got were:
What are the keys to success for a professional service company?
Who do you most admire and why?
What have you been reading? Tell us about it.
Tell us what AlphaSights does.
What other career options are you considering?
I got through to the second round, the in-person interview, of which I was notified a few weeks later. The interview lasted about 40 minutes and focused on my CV and my motivation to work here. They also had me walk through how I would help clients who wanted advice on an industry.

What companies are you applying to? Those are obviously very different from us, so what triggered you to apply here?
