I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Jan 2018
Interview
After the CV drop, I was invited to do a video interview. The interview consisted of four questions, 15 seconds in between each to think and 1 minute each to answer.
I was then invited to a Skype interview with the HR team. Questions were mainly behavioural - introduce yourself, why AlphaSights, what do you know about what we do etc. Reading through glassdoor and their website will suffice for this stage.
Following the HR interview was the Business interview consisting of two rounds, a case study round and a more thorough behavioural interview with a VP.
Case study round: 1) Explain the BREAD process. 2) Given three case studies. Pick two and then find two suitable experts for each case (total 4) in 15 minutes. 3) Explain how and why you picked those two experts. 4) Have a mock call where the interviewing manager acts as the consultant and you as the associate.
Final round: This was mainly behavioural. Follow the STAR interview technique and emphasise your dedication to AlphaSights' mission and company.
AlphaSights did not provide feedback, even to those who attended the final round of interviews. The reason as to why they were unable to do so was apparently due to the sheer number of applicants that they interviewed. Seems unprofessional and disrespectful as many companies far larger than AlphaSights are able to provide individual feedback, even upon reaching the HR interview rounds.
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied online, they responded very quickly. I had my phone interview a week after I submitted my application, just general questions about my CV and why I'm interested in the company. Then I got invited to a one-to-one interview on the same day, which was scheduled for a week later. The recruiter was very nice, it was more like a conversation than an interview, we talked about the projects in detail and how it works on a daily basis. It was a good experience.
