Pass through the first stage (200 word summary of why you want to work for AlphaSights), progressed onto the first interview stage. This interview was recorded online and lasted around 15 min. There is an opportunity to set up the camera and answer a practice question, then watch a recording of yourself. There is also an opportunity to re-record the actual interview for the second time. As others noted, this is not the most pleasant process, since one is self-conscious when talking into a camera as opposed to another human being, but the questions were nothing out of the ordinary (e.g. why do you want to work for us? what do we do?)
