I submitted my CV through the internet and invited to video assessment. It was very short and had about 5-6questions. each question has 30 seconds to answer. It took about 10-15 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Jan 2015
Interview
First round was a video interview, approximately 10-15 minutes. You have about 10-15 seconds to think and 30 seconds to answer each question. You have 72 hours to take the interview. Your interview will be recorded automatically on the website they send to you. I think the most difficult part of this interview is you have to talk with the screen while constantly checking with the time for each question. If you don't finish answering a question, the machine does not wait for you and move to the next question. This was what happened to me and I think that was the reason I didn't make it to the second round.

Question 1
Why AlphaSights?
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Step 1: Recorded Interview - An awkward experience where you sit in front of the laptop, a question appears, you have 5 seconds to think about your answer and then are recorded for the time allowed. (for me was always 1 minute) - This is quite a short amount of time to cover some of the questions asked so good preparation to answer certain obvious questions is recommended.
Step 2: Skype/Face to Face Interview (I didn't make it to this)
