I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Dec 2009
Interview
Was waiting from 12 pm till 6 pm, they called me accounding to the candidates occured. 1st round it self an HR round. Everything went well, i was happy as I answered to all questions of HR and filled the form given to me. I came out and waiting for the result, since it was time I was one of the last few candidates. The HR came up with the result and said my profile was put on hold. I wondered what might be the reason. They said my expected salary was high. I was so depressed can't the HR tell me the same in the interview panel, i would have negotiated with them. There reaction was not acceptable as they said its time so they will call me in the next comming week, but no response from them.

On campus drive where students were selected at random. So it was based on luck totally. 3 rounds one aptitude one hr one technical. Difficulty was medium so basically it was overally a good experience. Nothing so hard to prepare if you are already have decent grade and an average student it would be over par.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Accenture
