The automated interview involved basic personal questions, tell me about yourself, etc. The assessment centre has you and several other candidates go to their office (in this case in London) and go through several tasks both alone and as a team, these are meant to simulate actual work you'd be doing. Then some interviews with management and/or hr. Finally, a senior manager may call you after this to further discuss yourself, career goals, etc.
