I submitted my application through the company’s official website and, after a few weeks, was contacted by email for a remote interview. At the originally scheduled date and time, I was informed just minutes beforehand by the recruiter that it needed to be rescheduled due to the hiring manager’s unavailability.
However, at the rescheduled date and time, the hiring manager did not attend the interview, which made the reason given for the rescheduling inconsistent.
During the "conversation", it also became apparent that my resume had not been reviewed in advance, resulting in a few minutes of delay. Additionally, the details of the role and its responsibilities were not clearly explained. When I tried to ask questions, there seemed to be some difficulty in effectively conducting the discussion. The recruiter came across as brusque, she looked a bit strange.
Approximately 3 days after the "interview" or, to be more precise, the monologue, I received an automated email stating that I had not been selected, which was surprising given that the interview itself was not fully carried out.
Considering the company’s size and global presence, I believe this type of experience deserves attention. Proper organization of the hiring process, internal alignment, and adequate preparation of those involved are essential to reflect the level of professionalism expected.
Below, I’ll rate the difficulty level as “difficult” simply because I wasn’t able to speak with the recruiter.
