I applied online, and in about a week, I received a call from someone to set up an interview. The person on the phone was very bright and cheerful, so that was nice. He asked if I wanted a phone interview or an in-person interview. I figured in-person was more formal and showed more dedication, so I opted for that. The interview itself was odd to say the least. Strange questions mixed in with normal interview questions. Overall, the environment was uncomfortable and the interviewer was a tad rude. Still waiting for a response on whether I move to the next round or not.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Austin, TX) in Jan 2011
Interview
The process began with an online application. After I took the assessment, I was contacted via email for a testing date, which is stage two of the process. Then after the testing you are notified on the spot of a "Pass" or "Fail" status, if you are told "We will let you know in a week or two." That means you failed. If you are told "You passed!" and the person is super excited it's because you passed. Obviously! Then the interview that you have to come in next for is a face to face interview with the manager. The manager that interviews you is a floor manager and could be your boss, but is someone that is directly over you. They make their recommendations and then you are in! Someone will call you with an offer and then comes training!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time...these are all scattered through the interview. I did not get asked to sell something in my interview, but more behavior and service questions.
