I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA
Interview
Relatively easy - more of a security check/chat. I also got shown around the store and given training for an hour or so. I started the next day - didn't receive the H&S training until a few weeks in. As I understand it's a different experience at every store - but mine was generally positive.
Wait in a room. Then group activities and random questions while they watch you. Then they expect you to do unpaid work qnd actually help customers passing by, meanwhile they dont even give you a real 1-1 interview yet expect all this. Its also actual work.
Very good not too long and was made to feel very comfortable. Staff are lovely and not giving too much pressure - good working environment. Hope this helps future job seekers
