I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA (Peterlee, England) in Sep 2021
Interview
Was told to come in for an interview with a manager, turned up she scanned my driving licence, said I had the job and that they’d be in contact when I was on the system.
A few days pass and I ring as they’ve made no contact, get told that I have the job only to be contacted again a few hours later and told that there was a mixup and someone else had got the job.
I didn’t even get asked any questions in my interview, she literally scanned my ID, told me she’d see me soon and that was it.
Assuming that someone was actually interviewed and as a result received the job, extremely unfair.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at ASDA (Nottingham, Inglaterra) in Jun 2026
Interview
An hour long interview with 2 managers.
30 mins about me and my ideas followed by 3 Asda topic questions. I was invited to the interview as an internal candidate

Horrendous , had to chase them to even get a response back after the interview after being told I’d hear back in a few days. Manager couldn’t even ask me questions without hesitating didn’t seem to know what he was doing.
