I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AIG (Houston, TX) in Jun 2018
Interview
The process move fairly quickly and then changed pace to an almost non existent process. Applied for the position online, noting an employee referral on the application and a phone interview was scheduled 3 weeks later. The 30 minute phone interview was with a recruiter from HR and consisted of general questions regarding my qualifications and interest in the position. A week later I participated in a face to face interview with the hiring manager only. The interview lasted about 1 hour and was an average interview. After interacting with the recruiter multiple times to receive an update on the hiring decision, I was given the response of "still waiting on the hiring managers decision" weeks after interviewing face to face. It was not until a little over 2 months later that I found out that I did not get the job. I found out by logging to the AIG career system - not even a system generated email or a courtesy call from the recruiter, and that's after a formal face to face interview and status inquiry emails!
