I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Jun 2018
Interview
I applied in May 2018 and a recruiter reached out in early June asking me to complete a pre-screen questionnaire. After completing it and sending it back to the recruiter, I had a first round phone call with a Vice President a week later. The VP asked questions pertaining to the role and how my experience was applicable, but her tone was very negative. At the end of the interview, she said that the next step was a call with her boss but made it clear that scheduling that call would be very difficult as she was a very busy person. This was very off-putting as it made it seem that the company was doing me a favor by interviewing me and didn't actually need to hire someone for this position. I did not hear back from the company for another month when I received an automated rejection email.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
Fairly normal. It started with a case interview and then a one-to-one case interview. They asked a few technical questions but that was it. The interviewers looked exhausted as they were taking interviews all day.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AIG
Interview
Very easy process. Got referred internally and scheduled an initial behavioral Phone Call. A week later was called in for a Superday which lasted for two days. Overall great experience, and mainly FIT questions.
