I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ADP
Interview
The recruiter contacted me to discuss meeting with the DSM. I arranged for an interview and field day. During the field day I rode around with a current sales rep all day. I had a great time and asked good questions and learned a lot. I got along with the rep really well who was super sweet and offered good advice on the role play coming up. He told me on numerous occasions he thought I was a great fit. After this I had the role play. Pretty standard and was given time to prepare. I was not nervous and was very up beat. Everything seemed VERY promising. During the last interview, the DSM mentioned I would know by the next day if I got the job so I wouldn't "be waiting all weekend to find out." I left very confident! That was 5 weeks ago. I have followed up, sent thank you's, and made appropriate contact. There is an excuse or no response EVERY time. I am pretty confident at this point I didn't get it, but I wish they would have the decency to actually let me know rather than ignore me.

Question 1
Role play - sell payroll to them and be prepared for them to disagree with everything. Practice your response to a difficult customer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Lynwood Center, WA) in Jun 2014
Interview
2 phone interviews and then you talk with VP of sales. Was not liked in less than 15 minutes during in person interview because during the interview I asked if what I said made sense. They are looking for really confident people for the position. I thought I could be that. But then I did come from a scientific background so perhaps my red flags got shown early. They do invest in training their people. If sales is something you like to do go for it.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP
Interview
The interview process began with a phone interview with someone in HR. The phone interview went really well and the girl who interviewed me was super friendly and could answer all my questions regarding compensation, commission, company culture, sales expectations, etc.
I made it to the second round, an in-person interview. I was interviewing for a position in a different town than which I currently live. It was about a 3.5 hour drive for me to get to the interview so we set it up so I could meet with not only the VP of sales, but also 3 of the sales reps. When I arrived for the interview, I briefly met the VP and he left me with some random sales rep to interview me. The sales rep was totally uninterested in the interview and it lasted all of 10 minutes. Never heard back after this interview from HR.
Totally poor communication and interview process. I ultimately decided that this was not where I wanted to work. After digging a little deeper into who works at the company, etc. It's very much like pledging a fraternity or sorority. I think this is a great environment if you're right out of college, but if you're trying to grow your career and you're serious about it- look elsewhere.

Question 1
Normal sales questions: why sales, why ADP, what are your strengths and weaknesses, why you over another candidate.
