Interview
I was not interviewed by HR which, as I understand it, is a violation of company policy. I was interviewed by the hiring manager for over 1.5 hours and spoke to him on several occassions afterward. He was never candid about the outcome of any of these talks, merely polite .

Interview
Two interviews - the first was with the recruiter and the second was with the director/hiring manager. Overall a good interview experience - 30 min screening and about an hour interview with the director. Very conversational and low pressure.

Interview
Relaxed and informal. Slow process though - I had to follow up a few times. I wound up with another offer elsewhere and withdrew from the process. Everyone seemed kind and willing to train to increase payroll knowledge.
