I’ll start: - The interviewer constantly interrupts or seems distracted the whole time. - Nobody can clearly explain what the role actually involves day to day. - They dodge questions about turnover, onboarding, or why the role is open. - The interview feels weirdly adversarial for no reason. Does anyone draw a complete blank at interviews? From the time they say "So tell me about yourself" I go into fight or flight mode. It as if they're asking me about someone else's life. They say don't try to memorize your answers, but I have no other choice. I sturdy all these stories and intro's about myself and still can't remember. I don't know what to do. I have had at least 4 interviews and at each one I rambled and didn't get the job.
Have a second interview Thursday. Definitely not my first rodeo but the longer I go unemployed, the less confident I feel. That being said this company is specifically going to use the STAR interviewing Style. I've done my research on the history of the company, etc but I am finding it so difficult to memorize my answers in the STAR format, I'm going to have to use my notes. One time I was doing a phone interview and hung up on the interviewer because they asked me a question that I had no idea how to answer. Something like tell me about a time when you had to overcome bad judgement in your career. I was very young at the time and was interviewing for my first teaching gig. I couldn't think of anything so I just hung up on her. Never heard anything else from that job, obviously.

At this point, yes. *Edit: Then again... the one thing I've learned after finalizing the Masterkey Protocol is that this is no longer about finding a place in a world that demands performance, but rather... it's how to exit it.
Watching everything of restaurant
I really dislike asking and being asked this question. I have no idea if it is real and I have thought about making up a good scenario. I mean I want to know about your skills, whether you are only using us a stepping stone to go to the hospital in this field. I mean in nursing tell me about a time and what did you do…I had a manager that sucked the very soul out of everyone complained because I made more yet had twice as many years on her and in the hospital. After dedicating years she slowly found ways to get you to resign and had a core friend group. I was older so it automatically ruled me out. I resigned and I am here, unfortunately you can’t be that honest. I get why they ask those questions but hiring or being hired as a staff nurse I want to know your skills. I know you had rough times and worked it out with coworkers and others already. Can you read a FHR strip or place a foley, draw blood and in the office do you like it hot or cold. That is what I want to know and how you learn so I know how to tailor the learning experience for you. Do you like this area of nursing, that is what I want to know.
