Pros

Working at Springer Nature as a Talent Attraction Specialist has been an incredibly rewarding experience. From day one, I’ve felt part of a mission-driven organization that genuinely values people — both internally and externally. The company culture is inclusive, respectful, and highly collaborative. I’ve had the opportunity to work with colleagues across different regions and departments, and I’m constantly inspired by the passion and professionalism of the teams. There’s a strong sense of purpose in everything we do, especially in how we attract and support talent that contributes to advancing science and education. Springer Nature also invests in its employees’ growth. I’ve been encouraged to develop my skills, take ownership of projects, and contribute ideas that are truly heard and valued. The flexibility and work-life balance are excellent, and the leadership is approachable and supportive. If you’re looking for a place where your work has meaning, your voice matters, and your development is supported, Springer Nature is a fantastic choice.

Cons

Springer Nature has well-established processes and workflows, which ensures consistency and quality. However, for those who enjoy a more fast-paced or startup-like environment, it might feel a bit structured at times. That said, this also creates a stable and organized work culture.

Pros

I have been working in the company for 8 years. It is very inspiring to evidence how much this organisation has evolved over this time and how it has adapted their processes and procedures to market´s needs. I particularly enjoy the multicultural working environment and the possibility to work and learn from people of other nationalities, cultures, age etc. I also appreciate very much the purpose and mission of the company and their DEI views. Helping scientists, researchers, educators and professionals in improving their knowledge and dissemination of research is especially rewarding for me. I am proud to work in this company and to be able to contribute to a better world for my children and future generations. I am also very happy with the work-life balance policies and mindset from the Managers.

Cons

Due to the VUCA environment and the big size of the Organization, it is sometimes complicated to quickly respond to the market changes. However, I am aware that there is work in progress and I can see lots of improvements regarding this topic. At the end of the day, change is constant everywhere.
