FieldCore is looking for an exceptional Mechanical Field Engineer and Technical Field Advisor to join our Field Operations team based in Spain.

GE Vernova’s Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future. As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

As a Technical Field Advisor for Steam Turbines, you will contribute to the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring of resources such as labour, tools and technical assist. You will make decisions, apply concepts to issues of great complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power generating facilities. Furthermore, you will perform hands on work and be responsible for the maintenance of Steam Turbines and some Gas Turbines.

You should have extensive Field Engineering Services experience with a solid understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Controlling Parameters. You will also:

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
