The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Application Engineer - Collision Repair & Digital at Automotive Aftermarket Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the in-shop setup of 3M RepairStack™ Digital Performance Solutions a hardware / software program designed to assist Collision Centres to maximize profitability and monitor material consumption.
• Implementing training programs for body shops employees working with 3M RepairStack™, focusing on practical application and user proficiency.
• Partnering with 3M sales personnel, including the training and mentoring on RepairStack in their Collision Center customers locations
• Supporting distribution partners with comprehensive training and hardware setup to ensure consistent RepairStack experiences for Collision Centres
• Communicating solutions and guidance for troubleshooting software and hardware enhancing user experience and satisfaction.
• Collaborating with Global team members in a dynamic and changing environment.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Experience in automotive industry, preferably collision repair sector
• Previous sales experience, preferably with technical products or industrial software
• Passion for problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit and track record on working in dynamic environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Spain
• Proficiency in Spanish and English

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Relevant education
• Previous hardware / software experience with automotive calibration and diagnostic equipment, Inventory Management Systems or Smart paint scales
• Experience with Key Performance Metric implementation and monitoring at customer locations
• Good understanding of written and spoken French will be an asset

Job specifics:

• Work location: Madrid - onsite and in customers’ locations
• Travel expectations: May include up to 35-50% mainly domestically and occasional international travelling for training purposes
• Working pattern: full time
