What We’re Looking For

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time embedded software systems for space or aeronautical platforms, in compliance with applicable software development standards.
• Implement and maintain software components using C and Python for embedded environments.
• Work with real-time operating systems such as RTEMS, VxWorks, or FreeRTOS on embedded architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, PowerPC).
• Perform software verification and validation activities, including test specification and execution using EGSE/SCOE test benches.
• Define and document software and system designs using UML and SysML methodologies.
• Apply software configuration management practices using tools such as Git or SVN.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams following waterfall, SCRUM, or agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• Engineering degree with 3–5 years of professional experience in relevant areas.
• Proven experience in the design and development of real-time embedded software systems for the space or aeronautical industry.
• Excellent programming skills in C and Python.
• Solid theoretical knowledge of multitasking systems and real-time operating systems (RTEMS, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or similar).
• Experience with embedded computer architectures such as ARM Cortex, RISC-V, or PowerPC.
• Experience in software verification and validation, including test definition and execution.
• Knowledge of software design and documentation methodologies (UML, SysML).
• Experience working with containers such as Docker or Podman.
• Experience or exposure to DevOps infrastructure and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• English level B2 (desirable).
