Working as part of Industrial Print team you will provide field service, installation support and training to Epson end users for all commercial and industrial (C&I) products across Spain and Portugal.
What you will do:
Evaluate and report on suitability of installation sites prior to installation
Carry out the successful completion of installation and commissioning of Epson C&I products at customer sites, based on the terms and conditions outlined in the customer sales or commissioning agreement.
Directly support C&I customers and end users, helping to identify and resolve technical problems with C&I products
Liaise with other field service staff, both Epson and service partners, to share information
Monitor product failure to identify any ongoing problem that may require attention and provide feedback to the Manager Technical Support. Escalate technical issues concerning C&I products through the established technical escalation route
Create training content and deliver courses on current and future C&I products for Epson staff, customers, end users and service partners
Initiate and maintain effective communications with service partners on issues with C&I products
Provide technical support expertise to sales exhibitions and events
Keep allocated company products, test equipment and tools in good working order
What we ask for: Bottom of Form
Demonstrable experience in field service (printing industry), technical support or production support
Ability to travel to customer sites across Spain and occasionally Portugal
Experience with UV software eg adobe suites
Experience with colour management process used in the printing industry
Good understanding of electrical engineering
Proven experience in delivering practical solutions within a support environment
Team player capable of operating and contributing under pressure and to deadlines according to workload variances
Fluent in local language and English, verbal and in writing (write technical documents & reports)
Good knowledge of MS Office and general technology application
