ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School La Moraleja is seeking an outstanding and dynamic Head of PE (Whole School) to lead and inspire Physical Education across the school. This is a prominent middle leadership role for an exceptional teacher and leader who is passionate about sport, wellbeing and academic excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and develop the PE department across the whole school
• Inspire students and staff through high-quality teaching and leadership
• Ensure excellent teaching, learning and curriculum delivery in PE
• Support, develop and line manage members of the department
• Lead quality assurance, assessment and departmental improvement planning
• Promote participation and excellence in sport, including tournaments and extracurricular activities
• Manage departmental resources, facilities and budget effectively

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A Bachelor’s Degree and Qualified Teacher Status
• Proven experience teaching within the British curriculum
• Evidence of excellent classroom practice and strong academic outcomes
• Previous leadership or coordination experience within PE
