At Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, we help customers drive innovation and performance through advanced industrial technology solutions. Within our Portable Division, marketing plays a key role in connecting customer needs, product direction, and commercial execution across a global business.

We are looking for a VP of Marketing for the Portable Division (m/f/d). In this leadership role, you will define and drive the marketing strategy for the division, lead a distributed team, and work closely with senior stakeholders across sales, product, technology, HR, and regional organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing leader who wants to shape, build, and move a function forward in a collaborative international environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of the division leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the direction of the marketing function and ensuring strong execution across teams and regions. Main responsibilities include:

• Define and lead the marketing strategy for the Portable Division in alignment with business priorities and growth objectives
• Set clear objectives and action plans for the marketing team and guide execution against the agreed strategy
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports across Europe, while collaborating with additional regional stakeholders in a matrix environment
• Partner closely with Sales to bring effective campaigns and offerings to market with a strong focus on demand creation
• Work with Product and Technology teams to align marketing direction with customer needs, market developments, and product strategy
• Collaborate with HR on employer branding topics and support broader divisional visibility initiatives
• Ensure coordination and alignment across global and regional marketing activities
• Travel internationally as needed, approximately 25% of the time

Qualifications

• Significant experience in B2B marketing, ideally within industrial software, industrial hardware, or combined hardware/software solution environments
• Strong background in demand generation, digital marketing, or commercial marketing roles closely aligned with sales
• Experience marketing solutions with a consultative sales cycle and typical deal values in the range of approximately €100,000 to €1 million
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions, especially with Sales, Product, Technology, and HR
• Leadership experience with direct team management, ideally in an international and matrixed environment
• Suitable for candidates already operating at senior marketing leadership level or ready to step into a first VP-level role
• Ability to set strategy while also driving execution through teams and cross-functional collaboration
• Open, collaborative, and communicative leadership style
• Motivated by opportunities to shape, build, and transform rather than only maintain existing structures
• Willingness to travel globally up to 25%
• Professional fluency in English
