About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.About the role
As a Restaurant Hostess, you will be the first and last impression of our dining experience, creating memorable moments for every guest from the moment they arrive. You will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and seating arrangements, and ensure the smooth flow of the restaurant while delivering intuitive and personalized service that reflects the exceptional standards of Four Seasons.
Working closely with the Restaurant Management and Food & Beverage team, you will help create a seamless dining experience by anticipating guest needs, coordinating table assignments, and ensuring every interaction is genuine, thoughtful, and memorable.
What you will do
Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating an exceptional first impression.
Manage restaurant reservations and maintain accurate guest information using the reservation system.
Coordinate table assignments to optimize seating while ensuring an excellent guest experience.
Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to their server when appropriate.
Manage waiting lists and communicate accurate waiting times.
Recognize returning guests, VIPs, and special occasions whenever possible.
Accommodate guest preferences and special requests, working closely with the service team.
Communicate continuously with Restaurant Management, Servers, Bartenders, and Culinary teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Answer telephone calls and respond to reservation inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and hostess station.
Ensure menus, wine lists, and promotional materials are clean, updated, and presented to Four Seasons standards.
Support opening and closing procedures as required.
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
Ensure all interactions reflect Four Seasons service standards while creating memorable guest experiences.
What you bring
Previous experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant is preferred.
Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Professional appearance and grooming in line with luxury hospitality standards.
Experience with restaurant reservation systems (such as OpenTable or SevenRooms) is an advantage.
Fluent in English; Spanish and additional languages are highly valued.

Schedule & Requirements
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on operational needs.
