Scope of Work/Duties:

• Administer the Storage and Backup Infrastructures’ Systems of the organisation.
• Provide technical support for the ICC storage and backup infrastructures’ users (Connectivity, performance, troubleshooting, storage, backups, etc.)
• Manage the backup clients, schedules and retentions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of storage and backup services.
• Coordinate the replacement of failed Backup, Storage & SAN components, and service restoration.
• Create and maintain detailed technical and graphical documentation as needed.
• Develop/update tools and scripts to improve and automate the administration of the Storage and Enterprise Backup operations.
• Lead complex projects involving storage solutions and products for mid-large environments.
• Provide on-call rotation-based support outside of business hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:

The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience developing scripts or automation workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 backup solutions such as AvePoint and Spanning.
• Exposure to Software Defined Storage (SDS) platforms.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware.
