My feedback for Samsung would be the following: 1) When you have two people interviewing candidates whereby their first language is NOT English, HR should be present in the interview to ensure candidates understand posed questions to ensure a level playing field. It took the two people conducting the interview almost 15-20min to clearly articulate that their current Supply Chain model ends with the Retail vendor and that they want to move towards a more direct to consumer model. 2) Korean Culture of men being overbearing on women. The person I was to be reporting to a "female" asked maybe 25% of questions with the "male" Business Partner asking 75% of questions. Made me confused as to who I would be reporting to as well Glassdoor reviews had already given me a heads up on this type of men vs women dynamic to expect. 3) The male Business Partner at one point cut me off in the interview to say he was looking for an "Expert" in System Design which I found quite offensive in that YOU brought me here for an Interview and I DID NOT present myself per my CV which had no background in this area. My advice to the Business Partner would be to keep the interview experience positive though the candidate might not be the right fit, the feedback could be instead provided to the HR Recruiter to ensure they present properly vetted candidates. 4) I came into the interview with a positive feeling about Samsung as a company having purchased many of the consumer products, but unfortunately left feeling disgusted by the hiring process as well "male" Business Partner having no interview etiquette. I left the interview thinking even if I got the job, I have no interest working for the company.
