You must be a self-starter, willing to learn on your own, and be disciplined to do the work. It’s somewhat isolating but if you go to Starbucks or other places to do your work it’s helpful. My manager is always available and we talk through video conference. So it’s like walking over to an office to ask a question. In a previous career I worked remotely but had to be in the field so this is a little different. However I love the flexibility and being home to do my work. Biggest perk is the wear and tear on my vehicle from commuting.
