When asked this question, I talked about how I thought good customer service was doing the job to your full potential and getting what the customer wants. Great customer service is doing that, but giving it a bit of a personal side. Make sure the customer leaves not only fulfilled, but maybe a little happier. A lot of people go to Starbucks first thing in the morning, and it's nice to be able to set the bar for their day. Treat them well, make them feel like they're taking part in a person to person experience, not just ordering a coffee from a coffee making robot.
