Pros

Better than unemployment, better than fast food. But not by much. It pays fair to well, and in theory you could advance. But I haven't seen it happen yet. It pays the bills, if you don't live a life of luxury. Management can be a hassle. They are a different class of creature.

Cons

A dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job is a dead end job.

Pros

Walmart has a Fair pay compared to other the retail competition Excellent Benefits @ a low rate Plenty of room to move around the company till you find the job that fits you. 10% discount on General merchandise iteams & fresh produce 20% off glasses and contacts You are getting paid to make serve others.

Cons

Walmart is a large company that is constantly changing, allowing the "whisper down the line effect" to cause some confusion. Meaning some programs lose there meaning by the time they get down to the end user or things are added so the program becomes to complex to properly conduct. As a Walmart employee you are constantly seen as a target for a union recruiter to annoy. The unions are dying and are trying to grasp a hold of whatever they can no matter what it takes. Which means they are not afraid to get up in your face and try to trick you into giving them permission to hold a vote.
