Pros

This company is made by great talents from many different places in the world. We are a diverse team a strong culture in place, where people are supportive to each other even in the difficult moments. The product is loved by marketers, and it's beautiful. Compensation is good, adequate to the market, but the main benefit definitely is the flexible hours, 100% remote.

Cons

The company has passed for bad moments of layoffs and big changes in the leadership, but the future looks much brighter this time.

Pros

Typeform is remote - personally I enjoy remote work, because it gives me freedom. Employees generally enjoy a lot of freedom and autonomy as to when to work. Compensation is fairly good, although not on par with other remote companies. If you prefer freedom and chilled workdays over salary, its great. Lots of really nice and smart people working here Morale seems to be up a bit since a third of the workforce was laid off in january.

Cons

There is no respect for of trust in the CEO. It is a massive problem that most of the company lacks trust in him and that he seems to cling on just for his own personal gain, rather than do whats best for the company (which would be to step down). He is currently on his fourth leadership team in like 4 years - this shows he is clearly incapable of hiring the right people. The same problem exists with the chief people officer - a very cold, uncharismatic person who - ironically - doesnt seem to have any interest in people. Additionally, Typeform creates its own career framework which, when I interview with other companies, doesnt translate and they dont know how to place me Communication is very very bad. There's a very condescending feel to everything going out, and much of the comms is based on lies and deceit. For instance, during the layoffs they kept promising transparency and that they wanted to do the best for employees - this we found out was a lie. They also lied about the business doing great and that no layoffs would happen a month before they announced layoffs. Same for Diversity and inclusion. They've talked about it and made empty promises for over 2 years, but nothing has changed. They even fired the person leading D&I as part of the layoffs, LOL Many people are looking to leave - Typeform fired 30% some months ago, and we lose more, we'll start to be in trouble

Pros

- Great enviroment to learn (Healthy L&D budget) - Amazing culture - Great values - Solid enigneering foundations - New and exciting leadership - New product and technology strategies

Cons

- Lot's of change (given the market it's understanble but more could be done to create proactive change) - Writing culture needs impovement - Decision making can be slow (althought it's actively being addressed through a new framework and education)
