      Pros

      No one will argue that Typeform had a difficult year like many other Tech companies, but it's their approach to coming back stronger that is truly a standout: - Supported laid off employees with hand-picked employment networks and offered 1:1 coaching with VP of TA - Shifted traditional performance cycle to a shorter goal setting period (not tied to ratings) so employees could still get feedback needed to progress in their career. - Awarded blanket merit increase to all employees above market standard - Continues to offer 3rd party coaching resources -Hosting company wide in person event to drive connection which is direct result of employee feedback -Leadership communicates frequently and transparently in all hands mtgs, newsletters, etc

      Cons

      - Rigorous prioritization is good in theory, difficult in practice. Managers should continue to have frequent conversations about workloads and be willing to make tradeoffs

      Enjoyed my time at Typeform

      Pros

      Unfortunately, I was one of the people affected by tech redundancies at Typeform. I wanted to share that the aftercare and support following my departure have been above and beyond, and I genuinely appreciate the people team showing empathy and providing support during those challenging months. The recruiter who hired me stayed in touch and even helped me by reviewing my portfolio and giving interview training. I have now found a new role and had a positive experience, even though it was slightly bittersweet.

      Cons

      Being let go after a short time, but it's an industry-wide issue.
