Cons

Does not promote from within. Jobs for the boys. IT moved to France. No career progression in IT. Follow the French was of thinking, does not work in UK.

Large company internationally based. Hard to focus on maximizing revenue generation for petrochemicals due to being an oil conglomerate.

The people! Most jobs allow you to be responsible for a variety of related responsibilities. The financial strength of the Company allows it to weather the cyclical nature of the industry.

Cons

There has been a tremendous amount of change over the last few years. Also, there are more organizational changes pending. Many of the changes have occurred at the senior management level.
