Great co-workers, problematic pay

Pros

The people are great and it's easy to build relationships with your co-workers. Job stability is high and it's easy to move around internally once you've been hired.

Cons

Raises are rare for corporate employees and new people come in at higher salaries, so there is a pay gap between the people who have been with the company for years and new employees. A lot of mergers and name changes.

- Abysmal management starting from c-suite down - Financially strapped, no hiring, most of the times you’re doing two peoples jobs for less pay - Promotions are for PowerPoints and kissing up to the boss over performance

Pros

Good fringe benefits (salary), company car program, and 401K match. There are always new learning experiences and opportunities if you seek them out.

Cons

Morale is dropping due to new PSA merger with very different ways of doing business. Work/life balance can be challenging as most teams are very lean. Very high pressure to achieve targets set at the highest levels of leadership without any plan or coaching to achieve. Raises do not happen without a promotion which is very rare. Forced ranking system is uninspiring as effort in does not equal results out.
