      Poor experience, not reflective of how an insurance company should be operating in the 21st or any century.

      Pros

      There are no pro's to this company. Obviously I would have hoped for some direction for the team but everytime on the weekly calls had opinions from the field that were squelched before they ever started. Meaning that nothing would be possible and constructive. Therefore more of a dictator approach where nobody with any smarts would entertain an opportunity to work there.

      Cons

      Senior management is crash and burn. Your lucky to make it three years there. Absolutely no forward thinking nor any type of product development which makes it impossible to compete in the marketplace.

      Pros

      Company fully funded pension plan. Overtime was minimal and paid overtime for non exempt employees including time and a half over 40 hours.

      Cons

      The internal review program not tied to compensation decisions and wasn't streamlined so performance rating was at least partially dependent on the reviewer

      Clear target and direction, certain a place to develop your career and skills in the industry

      Cons

      Support can sometime be limited, for self starter it may be a plus but certainly space to improve.
