Maybe the alcohol in the office...

- Worst management culture I have encountered - A lot of words yet no impact - Absolutely no idea what is happening in the market (they act like the computer has just been invented) - Automating business processes was too expensive so instead they hired cheap resources in India to do admin work (do note, no modern slavery statement anywhere on their website) - One C level executive trust no one and has to be involved in everything. Slowing down processes drastically - they act like it's normal - The services are not ready and are already way behind

Thank you for the feedback. Firstly, you're right in some areas - some of our future services are not ready. We are focused on developing class leading solutions - as I am sure you know, this is not easy, it's not meant to be of course - having said that, we are constantly improving in this area with feedback from the business and most importantly our customers and this provides the inspiration to move forward. India and the teams there are a core pillar of our overall strategy - like any company, we are balancing capability, skills and knowledge with operating expenses. The culture and spirit of the Indian teams - like all of our global service centres - is brilliant. We have an open reward and compensation process that focuses on performance and retaining talent in a super competitive market. I am genuinely sorry that your only positive from your time with us is part of the social aspect of our culture. This is a failure on our part because we have so much reason to celebrate and success to be positive about. No, not perfect but yes, always learning and improving. SoftwareONE has the single greatest collection of talented and intelligent people I have ever been a part of. Not only are the people of the highest caliber, they all care deeply about the work they do and each other. Valiant efforts made to make the best decisions that benefit the most people while adding value to the business.

Cons

Because we are growing so fast and there is so much change - there can be unintended consequences such as ambiguity for front line employees, increased workloads and stress.

Our CEO describes this current phenomenon of 'Perpetual Change Adoptability" - whilst we make fun of him for making up phrases, his definition is not only insightful but key in what we and the industry are striving to achieve. It's a play on Darwin's idea of Perpetual Change, that all things will continue to change to survive and succeed in their environment. The difference to our phrase is that while accepting that change is constant, the company's and each employee's own ability to embrace that change and 'adopt' it as a way of life will be key to continuing success - but only if the change is positive. Bottom line is we will constantly be in state of improvement, and I am sure we will continue to fail and learn from mistakes - but for us that is part of the adventure and keeps the right type of person gluded to the company. Feedback like yours above is critical in this - you're absolutely right, the front line is critical and that's one of the reaosns we try to retain such a flat hierarchy - but please keep the passion and please never be afriad to connect to any of the leadership if you feel like something is being missed.
