      - Incompetent management team play the blame game when they make errors - Expected to stay back and work for free - They’re very uncompetitive when it comes to salary packages and refuse to negotiate pay

      Decent Worklife balance (40-50 hrs a week, no crunch-times) Professional, kind, and diverse workforce Good pay and benefits (mostly) Career advancement does exist Loyalty to the company seems to be rewarded Volunteer opportunities are available Career-related training is provided

      Cons

      Workpalce Safety and regulation is at a bare minimum to be legally compliant Career advancement path seems uncertain and non-linear High amount of bureaucratic and administrative work for a scientist (boring) Not a lot of vacation days - seems to be the absolute minimum. You have to work for the company for 5 years in order to get the time off that is standard for many other companies from day 1.
