Pros

Since Accuity is now part of Reed Business Information, the perks really come from the access to the resources, process improvements and opportunities of the parent conglomerate. RBI does try to bring everyone into the fold eventually which has its benefits. The IT vertical has seen the most improvement in the recent years. Compensation is average within the market.

Cons

The expertise in certain areas is still lacking. Health and other Benefits are well below the other companies in similar fields. Career progression is definitely limited and initiative is not very well rewarded but this is improving. Low funds for team activities. The CEO is not as visible as prior to the RBI acquisition and more vision reinforcement can be done.

Pros

widespread client base in correspondent banking, on-boarding, KYC, risk and payment functions worldwide. nice colleagues, good product management and client service support team

Cons

Due to the merger between Bankersalmanac and Accuity the working atmosphere is toxic. Twice as much people as needed lead to plenty redundancies in middle management and sales floor. Information& subscription [BA site] sales floor got mixed with software sales people [Accuity], therefore quality and style varies greatly. There is no reliable support network for the products, it all depends on your team. PSG and business solution is 2 people in the Uk for global support. They are heavily overworked, rude and still use waterfall. Structure lacks: Targets are not adapted to size of software deals yet. I got made redundant one day [!] before my software deal came in and Im not the only one. This is not sustainable business at all, stay away or be very in-transparent with your pipeline.

Pros

1) It’s a sales organization. Do well and be you’re rewarded 2) Travel is a bonus 3) The general basic pay is higher than other companies in the same market cap

Cons

1) Lack of transparency from management 2)High stress levels: you fear losing your job every day 3) You have to clock in on time (or half hour earlier) and there’s a general consensus you have to keep to your lunch hour 4) Lack of training time. You are expected to sell and train even though you are not very familiar with the products. Sales come first, everything else comes in second.
