      Division environments differ greatly.

      Pros

      Good corporate structure and benefits. From a RELX level, you feel there is a true desire to invest in you for future growth. Missions, policies, and core values are some of the best in the industry- not just on paper, but in practice.

      Cons

      Some individuals divisions within the RELX umbrella are run contradictory to the RELX values. When asked about open positions, I always ask "what division" before I encourage them to apply.

      Dull as dishwater

      Pros

      Opportunity to travel. Typically, the people are inoffensive.

      Cons

      It's like going to work every day with John Major's boring older brother. The company is dull and very old fashioned. Most offices are in desperate need of refurbishment. Some of the smaller offices are very nice. Company does not like to spend money, not at all. Terrible health cover, no employee perks. Salary and bonus scheme are lacking. It is structured so that you will be very unlikely to get half the bonus in your contract. 50 percent of the bonus depends on some obscure financial performance metric which nobody understands.

      None, there is nothing positive about this company

      Cons

      The management is very aggressive, poor product development, the staff turnover is really high in various areas of the business. The environment is very oppressive they squeeze like a lemon and then dispose you when it suits them, this is not a place for a long term career at all
