      Supportive team but management disconnect hinders efficiency

      Pros

      Good coworkers and mentors. Team spirit. Good challenges. Progressive and tolerant environment, accepting of different backgrounds.

      Cons

      Low efficiency for the amount of hours worked. No official internal guide for good coding practices (hell, any practices). Large inter-project variability when it comes to allocated resources, reflecting on quality. Disconnect between management and devs. Expectation for devs to do extra consulting work on top of development tasks, rather than offloading to, say, tech consultants (it's their job! Hire actual consultants for consulting tasks!).

      Good office space, but poor management and career growth

      Pros

      has a big office space with good facilities.

      Cons

      as an engineer and a resource, we are constantly getting moved around like chess pieces by project managers and our own technical managers. not sure if there are new projects coming in, but moving to new projects are hard and if you are stuck in a maintenance project, you have essentially no way to move out. This affects career growth. some project managers are micromanagers, so you can expect calls out of office timings. On top of that, they are rude and extremely obnoxious, be wary to steer clear. Being a resource, you do get pulled into their own political battles out of your own will. Technical managers themselves are sometimes too weak to help you, so they are pretty much just a puppet. also, don't expect too much in terms of compensation.
