Pros

Hours M-F, PTO TIME, Your work peers are feeling same way as you. Holidays off. Benefits

Cons

Ugh stressful do to being micromanaged, timed on your calls, timed on your after call work, god for bid if you have to go to your manager for customer complaints they pass it to the lead. Q&A on your calls and marked off on stupid stuff if you dont stay with the robot questions. The question are like your working on assembly line.. and you must sell the green program "god forbid if you dont ask that" Then you have the ancient computer program that freezes and is so dam slow and so out dated its sad. This program makes your job so hard.

MAPFRE IT position

Pros

MAPFRE is a large company dedicated to the insurance business, what depends on what is seen is a guarantee.

Cons

It is a company very focused on its insurance business and does not see technology as the driver to grow and optimize its huge results. Mapfre invests enormously in tools and infrastructure but does not worry about correctly evaluating its employees or incentivizing initiatives that can really involve distancing oneself from the competition. There is no agile culture, it is a very traditional company detained in traditional IT. Collaborative work and continuous delivery techniques have not arrived. Top management has always been behind in its strategic decisions related to IT, a clear example is to build a datacenter at the time when cloud computing was already a reality. Jose Manuel Inchausti was the high position at that time, a huge mistake.
